Why see a Nutritionist?

You have to eat. We know this, but we all have different needs, different pressures, different day to day activities. Anyone can post a story or blog online with "the ultimate, most perfect, healthiest" diet to solve all of your health problems and live longer*. There is always the newest super food, or diet trend, or meal timing that all have claims to be the best.

So what do you actually need?

It depends! Are you a fussy eater? Do you have a funny tummy that needs special attention? Are you wanting to eat less animal products for ethical reasons? Are you so bad at cooking that you burn water making fast food is a standard? Maybe you're on the road all day and find it hard to plan meals that work, or maybe you're *insert literally ANY reason here*.

Seeing a nutritionist in a one on one setting means that your specific circumstances are being considered and we can meet you wherever you are at. Together we can make some quick and hopefully easy changes, and depending on your individual goals create a plan for the future and adjust things as we go.

*not to be taken seriously. Please, PLEASE ignore any information ever that makes claims like these! Unless of course it's for medical reasons and from a qualified health professional, then definitely follow their advice.

1.

Initial nutrition
consultation

Let's get to know each other and find out how I can help you. We start by setting out your goals and breaking them into manageable chunks. You might be ready to jump into the deep end feet first and completely overhaul how you fuel your body, or you might be a bit overwhelmed and just needing a gentle guide into some better eating habits. We'll figure it out together.

2.

Follow up nutrition consultation

Typically we'll have a follow up a couple of weeks after your initial consultation to check in and see what is working or what isn't and adjust our plan of attack. Maybe some new questions have popped up that you didn't know you'd want to ask in the initial consultation. You might discover that you're ready for changes more quickly than you first thought, or had a spanner thrown into your plans that meant some things were achievable and we need to pivot.

3.

Regular check in
